FurBaby Spell Bottle by Tina H

I am Tina H, and I have been involved in the spiritual realm on and off for since I was in my early 20's. People consider me as an Eclectic Christian Witch if a label is used. I see myself as someone who loves to learn about all aspects of the spiritual world we live in. Some advice I can dispense to all that are on a magical, spiritual, Pagan, or Witch's journey is: This journey is yours and yours alone. There is no right way to do it as what works for one person may not work for someone else. So, learn from those you trust and do your research. Then figure out what works best for you. Remember, magic is all around you at all times. It is up to you to tap into its energy.

Ingredients:

Salt (Purification)

Eggshells (Purification)

Lavender (Calming)

Basil (Peace and protection)

Mint (healing)

Cinnamon (Health and good luck)

Pine or Juniper (Good Luck and Keep sickness away)

Comfrey

Small amount of your pets’ fur (Always let you pet know when you are taking it from them if you are taking it physically from them or pick up some of the hair they have shed.) Black Tourmaline

Rose Quartz

Rhodonite

Green Candle (Luck, recovery, connection to nature)

Brown Thread/Ribbon (Animals)

Jar/Bottle (Any kind that you feel drawn to use as long as it can be sealed tightly)

Directions:

1. Gather your ingredients. I I find it easier to use dried herbs. By using dried herbs, you can ensure the possibility that no mold would grow inside the bottle/jar. I want my animals to be protected for as long as possible, so the longer the bottle/jar lasts the longer your animals will be protected by them. It is not necessary but if you are able to have you pet(s) in the area while you are casting this spell.

2. Cast your circle, I envision a while light surrounding me and say a prayer to watch over and protect me while I do the spell. However, it is best for you to do what works best for you when casting a circle.

3. Light the green candle. When you light the candle imagine the white light (that has been surrounding you) also is surrounding your pet(s).

4. Time for your ingredient. The order of how you add the ingredients does not matter except for the following: Add your salt first and your pets(s)fur last.  repeat a prayer as I fil the bottle/jar. You don’t have to say a prayer. You can write out what your intent is on a piece of paper and burn it. If you do this make sure you add the ashes to the bottle/jar.

Example of a prayer:

Dear Universe,

Guard (pet’s name) from harm and illness.

I as that he/she is watched over when I am not there to do so.

Bless him/her with protection, good health, good luck, and love.

Let (name of pet) know that I love and will do all that I can to keep them safe.

5. Once the ingredients have been added it is time to close up the bottle/jar. Cut a small of the brown thread/ribbon and tie it around the neck of the bottle/jar. Use the melted wax from the green candle and completely seal the top of the vessel. Keep the spell bottle/jar in an area where your pet is often (where their food it, near where they slept, etc.). Close the circle you have cast.

6. If you do spill any ingredients or scraps from the thread/ribbon gather it all together and bury it outside.

Please remember that there is no substitute for taking your pet(s) to the vet, making sure that they are up to date on their vaccinations, and giving them all the love, you can by taking care of them.
