A once in-many-lifetimes event, not only will we get to write down 2/22/22 as the day's date, but it also happens to be a Tuesday, so let’s talk about what it means!
Number sequences hold a special significance because numbers are random, just like nature itself, and yet sometimes that randomness aligns perfectly into a repeating sequence. Maybe you’re one of those people who sees 11:11 on the clock every day, or perhaps you’re being followed by the number 555 right now. Humans have always found the alignment of sameness in a number sequence to be something magical and significant.
The Number 2
In numerology the number 2 represents relationships, and they can be romantic in nature but not exclusively. It’s about our relationship to all things. We have a unique relationship with everyone and everything we come in contact with, and that's what the number 2 represents.
2 also represents observation, the eyes with which we view and study the world and our surroundings. It’s about our careful consideration of these unique relationships we have. 2 is the number that sees and notices instead of acting and infiltrating the situation.
Lastly, the number 2 represents intuition. Because of the more receptive nature of this number it’s representative of our ability to notice subtle shifts in energy and understand what is coming before it does. When you get a feeling that something is or isn’t the right thing to do, and then you see 222 on the building's address across the street, that’s the universe saying, “trust your intuition, baby.”

Master number 22: The Master Builder
Today’s date is 2/22/22, so we’re not just looking at the number 2 as it is, we’re actually looking at the number 2 plus 22 and 22, so it’s imperative that we look at master number 22 to fully understand the energy of the day.
22 is known as the master builder, it has the power of 2 fortified times 2, but in numerology we practice adding numbers into one another to get a single digit number. So 2+2=4, meaning that 22 also has the energy of 4 in it.
4 is the number of stability and solid foundations, which can sound kinda boring to a spiritual person (it did to me at first, which was a bummer because it’s my life path number). However, 4 is not just about physical stability through finances, a good job, a nice house and a healthy body-though all those things are good to have and work towards-it’s also about emotional, mental and spiritual stability.
To fully understand the master builder we need to understand that all master numbers are about community and the future. Master numbers are not about what we can do for ourselves, but what we can do to support others as well as future generations. Master numbers ask more of us, they test us, they push us, and they offer greater rewards.
So, 22 is not about creating something stable and safe for you and you alone, it’s about building something for others to stand upon with you. It’s about building something that will outlast you and support the next generation as well.
So What Does This All Mean And How Can I Use It?
You’ll probably hear a lot of people call today a portal, and it certainly can be looked at as one! Master numbers are a chance to RSVP yes to the universe and the lessons we can learn in this lifetime.
Be observant and pay attention to your life and all the relationships in it today. You will likely be faced with an opportunity to grow and build something, this of course could be physical and affect your life in the realm of financial stability, but it could be more subtle. You may be pushed to focus on your emotional, mental or spiritual well being, but remember that it’s not just for the betterment of your life alone, it’s for the future of your community and your future descendants.
